Hoa Binh province is home to Hmong, Muong, Dzao and Thai ethnic minorities. The area has changed a lot since the largest hydropower plant in Southeast Asia was built here, turning the Da River into a lake. Still, even today the province boasts some of Vietnam’s most beautiful scenery.

  • Meeting Muong ethnic people at Cao Phong village with scenic landscapes: stilt houses, terraced rice fields and rock formations
  • Discovery at tea fields on the way to learn how to grow green tea

08:00AM  meet our local guide at the lobby of your hotel in Hanoi.

Thai Women in Cao Phong village, Hoa Binh provice, VietnamDepart for Hoa Binh town (70 km west of Hanoi). Visit a daily market in Luong Son town on the way. We meet Muong and Thai people at their villages Cao Phong. Lunch at local restaurant.

On the way back to Hanoi, we will stop to visit Tay Phuong (West) and Thay (Master) pagodas built in 11th century, located in the magnificient landscapes of the countryside.

Drive back to Hanoi. Drop off at your hotel. Tour ends.
