Day 1: Hanoi – Arrival (-/-/D)
Welcome to Hanoi, capital of Vietnam today !
Meet upon arrival at Hanoi International Airport, then transfer to the hotel for check-in. Time at leisure.
Welcome dinner at local restaurant as the introduction to Vietnamese cuisine. Accommodation in Hanoi.
Check - in time at 02:00 pm.

Day 2: Hanoi city tour (B/L/-)Hanoi Old Quarter
We discover Hanoi-the charming capital of Vietnam today:
Tran Quoc pagoda, Museum of Ethnography, One pillar pagoda, French colonial quarter, Temple of Literature, Hanoi Opera.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Then explore Hoan Kiem lake and a short walk in the Hanoi Old quarter to observe the daily life of local people.
Attend a performance of water puppet show.
Back to the hotel for refreshment. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi – Mai Chau (B/L/D)

We leave behind the noisy capital of Hanoi for Mai Chau valley (150km - 3h30 by car approximately)Mai Chau valley
Mai Chau is located in Hoa Binh province, approximately 150 km from Hanoi and 60 km from Hoa Binh. Many minorities, including the Thai ethnic group, live in Mai Chau. Stilt houses border both sides of the roads as you approach Mai Chau. The houses are quite large with palm leaf roofs and polished bamboo-slat floors. The kitchen is located in the center of the house; the cooking as well as the making of the colorful tho cam, the material used by Thai minority to make their clothes, takes place in the kitchen. The windows are large and decorated with patterns. Each house also has a pond to breed fish.
On the way, visit a local market - Luong Son which is not touristy, where you have local people trading their daily products.
Upon arrival, check in at local house and you have lunch there.
In the afternoon, hike toward small villages of Thai minority group with houses on stilt, ponds of fish and rice paddies.  
Overnight at local house in Mai Chau.

Day 4: Mai Chau – Cuc Phuong (B/L/D)Cuc Phuong national park
We leave Mai Chau for Cuc Phuong National Park.
Upon arrival, visit the Endangered Primate Rescue centre and learn a little of the work that is being done to preserve the endangered native primates, the Botanical gardens.
Enjoy a short trek through the lush rainforest, past centuries old trees and to caves once inhabited by prehistoric humans.
We have dinner and stay over-night in accommodation in the head quarter of the forest. We will spend a night drifting off to sleep to the sounds of the nocturnal activity outside.
Overnight in Cuc Phuong.

Day 5: Cuc Phuong – Kenh  Ga village – Tam Coc (B/L-)
We leave Cuc Phuong for Kenh Ga village.Tam Coc
Enjoy the spectacular scenery during a boat cruise on the Hoang Long river. Leisure walking in the village to interact with local people.
Afterwards, continue our journey to Tam Coc.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Enjoy the spectacular scenery during a boat cruise on the Ngo Dong river. Finally, visit Bich Dong pagoda where the opening of Indochine movie was realized with French star Catherine Deneuve in 1991.
Check in at hotel and overnight in Tam Coc.

Day 6: Tam Coc – Halong Bay – Bai Tu Long (B/L/D)

08:00am depart for Halong Bay, 180 km east of Hanoi, listed as World Heritage Area by UNESCO in 1994.
12:00 we board a traditional junk to discover the 8th World Wonder where the movie "Indochine" was realized with Catherine Deneuve, French star in the 1990's. Lunch on boat with fresh seafood.
It is time to relax on the deck through the most beautiful landscapes with more than 2,000 islands and islets limestone, rising from the emerald water. Visit a natural cave, the most picturesque grotto in the bay. Swimming (if the weather permits) and relaxing on the deck.
Dinner & Overnight on board.

Day 7: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Siem Reap (B/B/-)
Early morning wake up to contemplate the sunshine on the sea.

Continue our excursion in the bay while taking last photos in the miraculous bay.
10:00 Enjoy a sumptuous brunch as soon as we approach to the harbor.
11:00 Disembark at Hon Gai pier,
11:10 Drive back to Hanoi Airport. Visit a workshop of potteries en route. Fly to Siem Reap.

Meet on arrival at Siem Reap Airport and transfer to the hotel for check in. Leisure time. Overnight in Siem Reap.

Day 8: Siem Reap – Angkor Wat temples (B/L/D show)
Breakfast in hotel,
Visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, the famous Bayon Temple – built by Jayavarman VII at the end of the 12th, in the exact center of the city of Angkor Angkor Wat temples in Siem ReapThom and pass through Bapoun and Terrace of Elephants, Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda temples, that both of all give visitors an impression of how Angkor must have appeared when first recovered. The rest of this monring, visit the Ta Prohm - a Buddhist temple during 12th century, overgrown with jungle and admired by romantics for their dreamlike qualities.
Lunch will be served at local restaurant.
Afternoon, visit to Angkor Wat – one of the seven greatest architectural wonders of the world, built in between the 9th and 13th century, its general view are five ancient towers’ figure that embroidered or printed to the Kingdom of Cambodia’s Flag now, followed by visit to the Phnom Bakheng temple and view sunset from Phnom Bakheng.  
Dinner with Cambodian Traditional Dance show (Apsara Dance) at local restaurant.
Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 9: Siem Reap – Tonle Sap lake (B/L/-)
Breakfast in hotel,
Today we explore Banteay Srei temple, built under Jayavarman V, as the jewel in the crown of classical Khmer arts. Its rose-colored sandstone walls are Tonle Sap Lake in Siem Reapdecorated with carvings and bas-reliefs, which are among the most accomplished Angkor has to offer than on the way back to Siem Reap city; visit to Banteay Samre temple built by Suryavarman II and contains well-preserved relief depicting scenes of Vishnu and Krishna legends. Then lunch at local restaurant.
In the afternoon:  Enjoy a cruise on Tonle Sap Great Lake, one of the world largest fresh water lakes about 30-40 minutes south of Siem Reap town. There you will enjoy one hour boat ride to see the floating villages. Back to town, visit "Les Artisans D'Angkor - Chantiers Ecoles", apprentices' training-school in craftsman’s trade. For the rest time of this afternoon, enjoy shopping at Old Market for some special items from Angkor land.
Overnight at Hotel in Siem Reap.

Day 10: Siem Reap – Departure (B)
Breakfast in hotel,
Leisure time until transfer to Siem Reap Airport for flight to go home. Tour ends.
