Ba Bể Lake is the largest natural lake in Vietnam, located in Nam Mẫu commune, Bắc Kạn district, Bắc Kạn Province in the northeastern region of the country. Ba Be "Three Lakes" refers to the three parts of the lake named Pe Leng, Pe Lu, and Pe Lam. Ba Be lake is now the centrepiece of an extensive Ba Be National Park. The park and the surrounding area is limestone country, so lakes, waterfalls, caves and unusual rock formations abound. The whole area is richly forested and home to many ethnic minority communities. Ideal place for whom loving eco-tourism and nature.

07:30AM Meet our local tour guide at the lobby of your hotel.
Depart for Ba Be lake, 250km north of Hanoi. We drive throughout Viet Tri, Thai Nguyen, Bac Kan provinces with stunning landscapes of rice fields, green tea, green palm trees etc.. Upon arrival, check-in at Tay family house. Tonight, we are hosts of Tay people. Homestay at Pac Ngoi village.
Day 2: Ba Be lake - Cruises & Trekking (B/-/-)
Simple breakfast,
Discover the highlights of Ba Be lake: enjoy a cruise within the lake to visit Mystic Pond (Ao Tien), Puong cave, Dau Dang waterfall. A leisure trekking to meet Tay people in their villages. Back to Pack Ngoi village for overnight.
Day 3: Ba Be lake – Hanoi (B/-/-)
Simple breakfast,
Drive back to Hanoi. Visit the museum of Ethnology in Thai Nguyen which introduces an overview on ethnic minorities living in the region. Drop off at your hotel in Hanoi. Tour ends.
