Discover the major landmarks in Saigon: the Reunification Palace, also known as the Independence Palace. It is today an interesting museum. Continue to the Notre Dame Cathedral and the next-door Central Post Office. The cathedral was built by French colonists between 1863 and 1880. It has two bell towers, reaching a height of 58 meters. The post office was built between 1886 and 1891 and its design has been credited to Gustave Eiffel. A traditional Vietnamese lunch is served at a nice local restaurant before continuing to the War Remnants Museum. Besides exhibiting the Vietnam War, the museum also has many excellent exhibits relating to the first Indochina War involving the French colonialists. Lunch at local restaurant.
Afterward, continue our discovery to Binh Tay market, China town, Thien Hau pagoda. Visit a lacquer atelier before coming back to hotel. Tour ends.
