Day 1: Hanoi – Ba Be Lake (-/L/D)
07h30 Meeting with our local tour guide at the lobby of your hotel.
Depart for Ba Be Lake (250km).
Visit Nhat Tan flowers market in Hanoi which is very bustling between 04h00 and 06h00 AM, the biggest flowers wholesales market in Hanoi.
Then drive on the new high way N3 connecting Hanoi – Thai Nguyen. This journey offers wonderful landscapes with rice fields, green tea trees on small mountains in the middle highland. 
Upon arrival in Thai Nguyen, visit the museum of minorities where you have an overview on Vietnamese ethnic groups. It is very interesting in term of culture and tradition to learn about 54 ethnic groups living together in Vietnam.
We leave Thai Nguyen for Ba Be lake. Lunch on the way.
Enjoy a relaxing cruise on the lake to get the Pac Ngoi village. 30 minutes leisure walking to the homestay. Check in. Leisure time. Dinner and overnight in Ba Be.
Day 2: Ba Be Lake – Cao Bang (B/L/-)
Simple breakfast at the homestay.
Enjoy 4 hours cruise on the lake to discover Puong cave and Dau Dang waterfall.
Disembark and depart for Cao Bang (120 km – 3hours).
Lunch on the way.
You will have photos stops on route. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Leisure time. Overnight in Cao Bang.
Day 3: Cao Bang - Ban Gioc Waterfall - Cao Bang (B/L/-)
08h00 We leave Cao Bang for Ban Gioc waterfall (100km approximately – 2h30).
Ban Gioc waterfall is the extreme point of Vietnam and borderline with China.
Contemplate the waterfall. Pique -nique lunch.
Then we return to Cao Bang. On the way, visit Nguom Ngao grottos and a village of Nung people.
Back to the hotel late in the afternoon. Leisure time. Overnight in Cao Bang.
Day 4: Cao Bang – Hanoi (B/-/-)
Breakfast at hotel,
Drive back to Hanoi (300km – 4h30 approx)
Upon arrival in Hanoi, transfer to your hotel for check in. Leisure time. Accommodation in Hanoi is excluded.
